About the Author

V.G. Standberry is the author of the Safe & Strong Series, a collection created to help children understand personal safety, recognize their feelings, establish healthy boundaries, and discover the courage to use their voices.

The journey began with the first book in the series, Safe in Your Space, which introduced children to the importance of personal boundaries and understanding that their bodies, feelings, and comfort matter. Through gentle storytelling, children are encouraged to recognize when something feels uncomfortable and to trust their inner voice.

In the second book, Tell Even If It’s Me!, readers meet Sam, a vibrant and imaginative child learning to listen to the quiet signals of his heart and find strength in speaking honestly. Through comforting illustrations and gentle verses, Sam discovers that his voice is powerful, even during moments of uncertainty.

This heartwarming story encourages children to share their feelings, talk to trusted adults, and understand that telling the truth is an act of courage. It reminds young readers that safety is built through awareness, communication, and the confidence to speak up.
