We meet six year old EJ on the playground. It’s a great scene and lovely Saturday afternoon. EJ is playing with a few of his school friends, including his best-friend Marcus. EJ, Marcus, Andrew and Revon are playing with dinosaurs and trucks in the dirt. Sis (EJ’s older sister / guardian) and several other adults are sitting on benches keeping an eye on the kids as they talk, read and listen to music. As EJ and his friends are playing, they see a kid not far from them. They recognize him as the new kid in school. They also notice he’s playing with a pink truck.

 

It’s not about the color of the toy. It’s about the heart.
