MOSHE KARASSO is a man of letters with a broad
intellectual horizon, possessing an extraordinary
writing talent and a profound understanding of the
human spirit. As a lifelong expert in the upheavals
of history, he draws inspiration from his own
personal life story: His father, of Greek descent, and
his mother’s family, of Russian descent, were forced to flee their
countries due to persecution, and arrived in Turkey; they met and
married, and Moshe was born. At the age of 16, Moshe immigrated
to Israel alone, where he has lived with his family ever since.
