Dr. Oluwagbemiga Ogboro-Cole is a well-known author of “Mami-Wata: Short stories in Nigerian Pidgin English,” as well as other publications and documentation on pidgin English, musical transcriptions in sound archives around the world, and the Yoruba language. He is a member of the African Literature Association (ALA, USA) and the African Studies Association (ASA, USA).
