My name is Wavaline.  Most people call me Miss Wavey.  I was born in Middletown, Ohio, but was raised in the mountains of Eastern KY, on the Red River Gorge. I was raised on the Sand Lick Fork, where my grandparents owned around 1600 acres and sat in the middle of the Ashland Oil fields. I know that I had 2 sisters and one brother, and we had to learn to appreciate the errors in our ways. And we usually learned by trial and error, but for the most part, this is where I learned a special kind of love for forgiveness.  Mom went to work in a sewing factory away from home, and Dad went to work as a lineman on power lines, and he stayed away from home.  The physical and mental abuse was so great, but we survived the path God had laid for us.  Now, seventy-two years down the road, we have found great relief in our walk in the Lord; I have written many a beautiful song and have finished and published my first book.  I am working on my second book and will continue to write and compose more songs for the Lord if it is the Lord’s will.  I have a wonderful husband, three fabulous children, and one most precious granddaughter.  I am blessed, and thank you, Jesus, for everything.
