NathanOr BenZvi, born in 1991 in Jerusalem as Or, grew up in Kiryat Arba until the age of 13, when he moved with his family to Ofakim. At age 10, he embraced religious observance, and his mother later dreamed that his late grandfather, Benjamin Amba, called him NathanOr. After studying at a Hesder Yeshiva, he left religious observance with many questions about religion and its meaning in his personal life. Between 2015 and 2017, he worked as a customer service and sales representative, and in 2017 received a certificate in capital markets and independent investment portfolio management. Since 2019, he has worked at ADI Negev – Nahalat Eran, supporting and caring for people with disabilities. Between 2022 and 2026, he trained in care and rehabilitation, and in 2026 was certified as a Senior Certified Professional Support Caregiver. In 2018, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, an experience that led him on a personal and spiritual journey and to the establishment of BABASHUVA – A New World. A New Reality. NathanOr is an author, singer, and spiritual content creator, active also as a blogger, YouTuber, and podcaster. The initiative promotes spiritual awakening, hope, and unity under the vision: “Underneath We Are All The Same.” He believes solely in the Tanakh as the only book that contains a direct connection to GOD and His requirements for humanity.
