Sean Tyrone Benson was born in Camden, New Jersey, and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He served for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, developing strong leadership and technical expertise. His project management career spans defense organizations (USARC, DFAS, DMDC, MARCORSYSCOM, MARSOC, SOCOM, USASOC), the private sector (Deloitte, Fluidra, Palomar Health, Benson Service Group LLC, HQE Systems), and local government (North County Transit District). He currently serves as a professor at National University’s School of Business and Economics in San Diego, California.
