People have asked me, "how did you become an author?" I always explain that first I was a storyteller and then I became an author. I always enjoyed sharing stories with my friends and family whenever I went somewhere.

When I began to write my first book it was easier than I had expected to put my thoughts down on paper. I first think about my characters and the situations they are in and then I let the action play out in my mind. The rest is just a matter of putting what I see onto paper.

I finished writing my first book in ninety days.
