I am the oldest sibling of eight children. I grew up in poverty and was forced to raise my siblings due to our father being absent. I turned to the streets at an early age, juggling both school and the lifestyle of the streets. Got into trouble with the law and ended up doing a prison stint. Did a lot of reading while being incarcerated which inspired me to write my own story. Having the gift of both school and the streets is what makes me as well as my story telling abilities unique.
