Gloria Krause, PhD, LISW, is an author, psychotherapist, and life coach—but those titles only scratch the surface of who I am. I’m also a devoted mother, grandmother, and a lifelong nurturer of the human spirit. I see myself as both a spiritual guide and an eternal student, as committed to the process of unlearning as I am to seeking deeper wisdom.
Helping others comes as naturally to me as breathing. It’s a driving force that has shaped my life from the very beginning. My love for reading and creative expression is just as instinctive—essential threads in what I believe should be a rich, resilient tapestry of life. This innate desire to help drew me into therapy, while my passion for words led me to write, especially on issues of mental health and addiction.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: freelance writer, editor, writing coach, tutor trainer, university instructor, and mentor in soft skills and personality development. My work as a spiritual life coach has been especially rewarding, giving me the privilege of guiding others toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment.
Since 2012, I have dedicated myself to major writing projects and am now the author of two books and the Phoenix Trilogy—You Don’t Own Hades, I’m Spinning, and Don’t Argue with Sunrise—as well as three daily planners and journals.
As a psychotherapist and spiritual coach, I help people face life’s inevitable challenges and move toward authenticity and inner peace. No one escapes adversity; my aim is to help others confront difficulties with courage, rise above setbacks, and resist the urge to dwell on old wounds.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a diverse array of modalities, particularly the humanistic philosophies of Carl Jung and Carl Rogers. I believe in a deeply person-centered practice—true connection is essential for understanding each person’s unique perspective. I also hold that a life disconnected from its soul is bound to feel lost. Through my coaching, I empower individuals to examine the blueprints of their mind, body, and spirit, focusing on personal growth, confidence, clarity, and core life skills tailored to their unique path. My goal is to equip people with the tools they need to navigate challenges in every area of their lives—personal, professional, social, and spiritual.
I am a licensed independent social worker with a PhD in psychological studies. Above all, I remain a dedicated student of transformation and growth.
