I was born in Oklahoma, and as a child, I loved using my imagination. Daydreaming was a wonderful escape. When I became a mother, I cherished my child’s imagination. I was a mother of three; two were lost to miscarriage and stillbirth, and my son Israel passed away at five. In addition to that, storytelling is my way of sharing love—like a love letter to my children —and each word I write carries that bond forward.
