Dick Licciardi has been passionate about writing and journalism for fifty years. As a 20-year-old Marine, he wrote and hosted a national radio show during the Vietnam War. As a Marine Corps correspondent in Vietnam, Dick wrote from the front lines about Marines in combat. As an award-winning radio and television news anchor and reporter, his hard-hitting investigative reporting won him several journalism awards. Dick also served as publisher/editor of the nation’s largest senior newspaper.
After escaping California in the late 1980s, Dick and his new bride, Nancy, found a satisfying life in Colorado Springs, a small town in Southern Colorado in the shadow of Pike’s Peak.
