My name is Vashanique Kemp, I am a 16-year-old author from The Bahamas. I was born in Nassau but I have spent most of my life in Freeport, grand Bahama. As a 12th-grade student at Summit Heights Preparatory , I balance academics with my passion for storytelling. I wrote “Death to the King” to spark imagination in readers of all ages. Beyond writing, I aspire to be a neurologist to make a real impact in The Bahamas. Above all, I hope my book reminds every one of the magic storytelling brings.
