Ray Heron grew up on Long Island, NY in a small village called Malverne, that he has seen change so much over the years. Ray was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball and baseball year-round for the Valley Stream North High School Spartans, class of 1961. Ray now lives in Franklin Square, NY with his wife Lois where they raised a family of three children and four grandchildren. Ray still maintains close contact with many of his Valley Stream North classmates on a frequent basis.
