Daniel Jean-Louis is the author of Messenger of Christ and The Great Escape. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and immigrated to the United States in the winter of 1984.

In July 2018, several godly individuals studied the Bible with him and helped him understand what it truly means to be a Christian. Since then, he has devoted his life to helping others come to that same understanding and to calling Christians to unity upon the one foundation on which the Apostolic Church was built.
