Randell J Rankin is a Navy veteran and electronics technician with a lifelong fascination for how the world works. Raised on a farm before serving as an AT2, Randell’s writing is grounded in the reality of complex systems and the grit of those who maintain them. Drawing inspiration from Robert A. Heinlein, Stephen King, and Mark Tufo, he crafts “Hard” science fiction exploring the boundaries of free will. Today, Randell lives in Grand Prairie, Texas, with his wife, where he enjoys their grandkids and flying radio-controlled WWII warbirds.
