Business Leader – Athlete/Coach – Author – Father – Philanthropist

Tony Chiles is a renaissance man. He may be too humble to acknowledge that, though the truth
is, he is proficient in many fields and industries and is true to his family.

In business, he is the president at BJC Management, and the Director of Sales at DPR
Compounding Pharmacy in Miami Lakes, Florida. With focus on providing careers and
healthcare, Tony’s leadership values include quality, innovation and commitment. His bottom
line is doing the right thing right.

Tony is an athlete and a scholar. He attended All Hallows High School, where in addition to
being the school’s valedictorian, he captained the “Gaels” to the New York State Championship
his senior year. He earned multiple scholarship offers and chose the Ivy League, Columbia
University in New York, where he became a 4-year letterman in basketball and holds assists
records that stand to this day – all while achieving academic status on the Dean’s List.

The accumulated experiences led him to be a coach and educator – of teams and people. Over
three decades, he has coached at some of the nation’s most prominent institutions including St.
John’s, Tulane, Fordham, Iona, Drexel and Manhattan College.

Coaching, life experience and as an educator led him to realize that many of today’s generation
of men, often subject to Mom’s care, love and ‘babying’, causes men to no longer have the
ability, skill set or experience needed to lead their households. He decided to create some
understanding and resolution. The result is his bestselling book, The Baby Powder Theory. It is a
book acknowledging these circumstances and encouraging strength.

Tony has recruited and educated many young men, mentoring some into professional athletes
and business leaders. He is most proud in seeing the men they have become. This sense of
accomplishment is only rivaled by the rewards he has seen in the growth and development of his
three sons.

Life didn’t always come easy. Tony is a product of the Highbridge section of the Bronx. As a
speaker and mentor, he shares the lows and highs. He is a central figure in the true life tale
depicted in his brother’s book, The Crack Era: The Rise, Fall & Redemption of Kevin Chiles.
The brothers arrive together on stages and podcasts individually and separately to talk about the
inside of penitentiary and the outside of addressing how to live life.

Tony influences the lives of those he comes across and shares his journey and the path to
optimism, promise and possibility.  From the Bronx to the beach, his message carries the bounty
of taking a stand and becoming the You – who you are meant to be.
