Maggie Hoffman. Wife. Mother. Artist. Decades have passed since she left her demons behind in a little white house on Venice Beach, California.
But as she walks through the tree-lined streets of her Omaha neighborhood, Maggie’s carefully constructed world is beginning to collapse.
Dreams and flashbacks haunt her.
A mysterious box arrives in the mail. And a shocking
phone call leads her on a thousand-mile journey to a place called Turtle Mountain.
There, trapped in a house of strangers, she seeks the truth. And begins to follow a path from remorse to the hope of redemption.
