When four-year-old Esperanza moves from Mexico to America, everything feels big, different, and a little scary. She’s about to start school, but there’s one problem: she barely speaks English.

Viktoria Pilyanska is a preschool educator and children's author who finds joy in helping children learn about kindness, courage, and friendship. Her love for storytelling grew from the everyday moments she shares with her students— moments of laughter, discovery, and care. When she isn't teaching, Viktoria enjoys practicing calligraphy, creating art, and exploring new places.
